Our Team

My financial services career began in November 1986 as a sales representative with London Life Insurance Company. I started in the Scarborough area, then moved to Barrie in 1992. It was that year that both my family and business started to grow. In 2000, I then became a financial security advisor with Freedom 55 Financial, a division of London Life. On Jan 1st 2020, after a corporate amalgamation, London Life, Great West Life and Canada Life have become Canada Life with a new logo. Through my mutual fund dealer Quadrus Investment Services Ltd., I can offer an array of investment choices and products.

My full-service approach not only involves providing investment and insurance products but the ability to build a strong relationship of trust by working together with you to achieve your financial well-being. With Three and half decades of experience providing financial advice to Canadians, I have gained the knowledge and expertise needed to provide exceptional service that all clients should expect and deserve from their advisor. I am a member of Advocis professional association for the past 36 years.

We still maintain our family, friends and clients in the Georgina area but are looking forward to growing our friends and clients in the Minden area. When I'm away from my office, I enjoy golf, puttering in my garage and motorcycle riding. My volunteer work with the Sutton Kinsmen and Minden Legion have taught me so much with some great life time memories.

Dawn joined Freedom 55 Financial in 2008 following 11 years as a senior administrator with another financial institution in Toronto. Choosing to be a stay-at-home mom to her four beautiful children, she headed to Barrie where her family now resides. For the past few years, she has chosen to work evenings as a bartender and server at the Georgian Downs Racetrack. She enjoys socializing with friends and gardening.
